L&T, NTPC and Indian Oil win PMI India Awards 2014

Project Management Institute (PMI), the world’s leading not-for-profit professional membership association for the project management profession, has announced Larsen & Tourbo, Indian Oil Corporation Limited and NTPC Limited as the winners of PMI India Awards 2014. These awards were presented by Ricardo Triana, Director, Chairman, 2014 PMI Board of Directors.


The Evangelical Fellowship of India Commission on Relief (EFICOR) was the winner of Project of the Year – NGO category award for their ‘Parivartan Child Survival’ Project (Parivartan CSP) and NTPC Ltd The Project of the Year in the Contribution to Community category for their ‘Skilling India’ project.


Speaking at the awards, Mr. Raj Kalady, Managing Director, PMI India said: “The recipients of this year’s PMI awards exhibit achievements and talents of the companies and individuals that exemplify project management excellence. By leveraging strong, standardized project management practices, innovative ways to identify risks and overcome unexpected changes, these companies will help characterize the importance of project management in the generations to come.”
